Her research primarily focuses on the impact of social influences on consumers\u2019 thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She has published in leading journals including\u00a0<em>Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Psychology,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Psychological Science.<\/em>\u00a0She currently serves as the President of the Association for Consumer Research and as a Co-Editor at the\u00a0<em>Journal of Consumer Psychology<\/em>, and was previously the President for the Society for Consumer Psychology.\u00a0 She has won the Erin Anderson Award for an emerging female marketing scholar and mentor and was the co-winner of the inaugural ACR Early Career Award. She has spent her sabbaticals at Erasmus University, Duke University, and the University of Colorado at Boulder.
