Sayuri Wijekoon

I am a Ph.D. candidate at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. I am passionate about researching marketing strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship. I am investigating how entrepreneurial ventures shape their marketing strategies. I believe entrepreneurial ventures need a unique approach to marketing different from mainstream marketing activities of large and more established ventures. I am in the journey of exploring this unique approach of marketing in entrepreneurial ventures. In addition to research, I am interested in teaching and mentoring. I have more than 2 years of experience in lecturing, supervising, and mentoring undergraduates. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Uva Wellassa University, Sri Lanka in 2018, and I completed my Masters’s of Research at Macquarie University, Australia in 2021.
