Hello. I am a second-year PhD student from the School of Marketing, UNSW. My dissertation will be focused on solving managerial problems in the music streaming industry. It includes methods for curating playlists, detecting and leveraging viral content, and understanding user needs from a playlist’s textual information such as title, description and comments. I am interested in content analysis, such as the structure of songs, books, playlists or videos. I hope my study can benefit and provide solid statistical evidence to persuade managers. I did my undergraduate in Actuarial studies and Advanced mathematics, majoring in Stats. I got first-class honours in stats. I like, and I am good at modelling and computing. I hope to contribute to the marketing academia by providing a new angle of view on solving real practical problems.
