Dr. Venkatesh Sunkad

Director, JAGSoM

Dr. Venkatesh Sunkad has over 20 plus years of global leadership experience in the AI, IoT, and telecom industries, marked by impactful contributions at esteemed organizations such as Vodafone India, Mobileum India, Viasat USA, CableLabs USA, and ADC Mobile Systems USA. His career is marked by impactful contributions and recognized internationally for his applied research and innovation.

Dr. Sunkad has received numerous prestigious accolades, including being named one of the “Top 50 Cable Technologists in the USA” by Cable Today magazine for his outstanding contributions to the industry and the “Distinguished Professor Award” by AIM magazine. Known for his leadership, expertise and global perspective, Dr. Sunkad has delivered over 100 international talks and published extensively in leading international business and research journals.

Prof. A. Parasuraman (“Parsu”)

He is the Emeritus Professor and the James W. McLamore Chair in Marketing at the University of Miami. He is considered one of the most influential figures in the field of services marketing and service quality, and is widely known for his work on SERVQUAL, E-SERVQUAL, and the Technology Readiness Index (TRI).

He is also the Pro-Chancellor (Academics) at Vijaybhoomi University and Mentor, AIM Parasuraman Centre for Service Excellence at JAGSoM.

Prof. Anand Deo

Ex Zydus Wellness LTD.

Prof Anand Deo, an alumnus of IIT Bombay and JBIMS, is a corporate executive who has held multiple leadership positions in CXO suite at TTK Healthcare, Zydus Cadilla, and Zydus Wellness.

Prof. Ashwin Baliga

IÉSEG School of Management

Dr. Ashwin is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Sales at IESEG School of Management, France. Dr. Ashwin completed his Ph.D. in B2B Marketing from the Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras.

He is a recipient of the Sri N Kannan Prize for Best PhD Thesis in Marketing at the 59th Convocation of IIT Madras. His main area of research focus is ‘Service Failure and Recovery’.

Prof. Bal Palekar SK

Professor – Marketing,

Prof. Palekar is a Professor in the area of Marketing. Prior to his current position at JAGSoM, he has worked with S P Jain Institute as Full Time Professor, IMT Ghaziabad as Professor, and NMIMS, JBIMS, IIMs as Visiting Professor.

With 34 years of corporate work experience in MNCs as well as Indian companies in consumer / industrial verticals he has held multiple senior level positions.

Prof. Edwin Moses

Prof. Edwin brings with him a rich corporate experience, a P&L Leader, who has held many senior leadership positions with global organizations like Oracle including roles in the CXO suite and senior leadership. He has lived and worked across 3 continents with more than 30+ years of experience spanning industries & functional domains.

Prof. Kartik Raina

Ex Dalmia Consumer Care

Prof. Raina is a Professor of Sales & Marketing and an accomplished leader. He has served in the C-Suite & in senior leadership positions with organizations like Unilever, Dr. Morepen, Dalmia Consumer Care, Glaxo SmithKline & Dabur Foods.

He is an alumnus of Jamnalal Institute of Management Studies.

Prof. Rakesh Mediratta

Associate Professor – Marketing, Jagdish Sheth School of Management

Prof. Mediratta brings with him a very rich corporate experience. His three decades of industry experience include senior leadership positions like being the National Sales Head at Park Avenue, Raymond Ltd; and Vice President- Retail at Vodafone.

A BITS Pilani graduate, he has also worked as an Associate Professor at IMT Ghaziabad and is a subject matter expert in Sales and Distribution, Services Marketing, and Strategic Marketing.

Prof. Anand Narasimha

Prof. Anand is a corporate turned academician with over 30 years of leadership experience spanning Brand Marketing, Advertising, Consulting and Academics. He has a rich cross-category experience having navigated brands for leading Indian and Global corporations such as, P&G, Nestle, Dabur, Tata Tea, ITC, Britannia Cavinkare, Mother Dairy, BPL, Sony, Samsung, Hyundai, TVS Motors, Hero Motors, Epson, Benetton, Tata AIG, HSBC.

Prof. Rajesh Kumar

Prof. Rajesh Kumar, a seasoned techno-marketing professional, brings with him more than 20 years of industry and teaching experience. He has created, contributed to, and nurtured brands from scratch. During his corporate stints Rajesh translated corporate vision and mission into outcome driven marketing programs. He has built compelling brand experiences in services and in productized services in technology domain across different industries leveraging a mix of traditional and digital marketing realms.

Prof. Ratan Kumar

Prof. Ratan Kumar is Assistant Professor in the Marketing area. His doctoral research at MDI Gurgaon is focused on ‘Social media Usage by B2B Salespersons and its impact on Their Sales Performance’. He has qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) by UGC. Before coming to academics, he has worked for eight years in the industry, in marketing and sales roles in the pharmaceutical and tourism sector.

Prof. Partho Dasgupta

Corporate turned academician with 37 years of leadership experience spanning B2B sales and marketing, consulting and academics in India and USA. His teaching and research interests are in areas of strategy, brand management, macroeconomics and entrepreneurship. He has more than 30 years of work experience out of which 21 years were with Wipro in India and USA in various leadership positions.

Prof. Raghavan Srinivasan

Prof. Raghavan Srinivasan is a consumer centricity catalyst. In his long corporate career, he played several senior leadership roles in consumer research space like being the CEO, Kantar Indonesia; CEO, TNS India; Executive Director-Mode Research; Head Marketing-Funskool. His teaching and research interest lies in Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, Customer Centricity.
