Kanyathon 2026 marked its 15th edition, bringing together over 13,000 participants across Bengaluru, Karjat, and BITS Pilani, continuing its position as one of India’s largest student-led charity runs supporting the cause of girls’ education and empowerment.
Held on International Women’s Day, the initiative reflects a growing movement driven by student leadership and social responsibility.
Since its inception in 2011 with 400 participants, Kanyathon has impacted over 3 lakh girls through scholarships, Kanyathon Shiksha Kendras, and programmes focused on education, digital literacy, health, and hygiene.
Organised by students of Jagdish Sheth School of Management, IFIM Institutions, and Vijaybhoomi University, the initiative continues to drive meaningful, long-term impact.
