Reconnecting with old friends and reminiscing about the good old days- Milan’23 by the Alumni Association revived old memories, and created new ones. Milan’23 was a marvelous event held at The LaLiT Ashok, Bangalore organized by Alumni Committee, which benefited students and Institution in numerous ways. Milan’23 not only rejuvenated old bonds between the alumni who shared their journey but also further strengthened their bond with their alma mater. It was a combined Milan’23 – Annual Alumni Meet of all three Institutions.
Alumni Association conducted multiple Live & Interactive Session in 2023. (1) ‘Finance Related Roles in Corporate and Career Opportunities’ on 19th Feb 2023 by Mr. Vijayendran N who is an Alumnus of JAGSoM and is currently working with RUBRIK, Inc. (2) Sales & Marketing workshop on 14th June 2023 by Mr. Jatin Shah (3) What Corporates expects out of Fresh Grads on 20th May 2023 by Ms. Varsha BM (4) Health Care Analytics on 10th June 2023 by Sahil Makkar.

Brunch Pe Charcha – Mumbai & Pune Chapter: A Spectacular event organized by Alumni Association held at MITRON, Bandra, Mumbai on 28 May 2023. Being a first BPC at Mumbai & Pune Chapter, more than 30 Alumnus attended the event and participated in various ice breaking and fun activities.
Brunch Pe Charcha – Bangalore Chapter : On 16th July 2023, a wonderful get together organized by Alumni Association at Bumblebee Brew Works, Bangalore. The objective of the event is to establish the connections with the Alumni who are our virtual Brand Ambassadors.
Brunch Pe Charcha – Kolkata Chapter: A beautiful event held at ‘Plan B’ on 6th Aug 2023, at most beautiful and busiest area of Kolkata. The occasion was organized by Alumni Association with the objective to establish the connections with the Alumni who located in various other cities and strengthen the networks for both Alumnus and the institute.
Brunch Pe Charcha: Brunch Pe Charcha was a marvellous event held at Master of Malts, New Delhi organized by Alumni Committee, which benefited Institution in numerous ways.
Brunch Pe Charcha: It was a great Afternoon Brunch time well spent with the Alumni’s with Gig performances.
Brunch Pe Charcha- Bangalore: Bangalore edition of Brunch Pe Charcha, held on May 25, 2025, brought together over 90 enthusiastic alumni at Big Pitcher, Indiranagar. Organized by JIVAA, the event served as a warm platform for reconnection and collaboration among alumni from JAGSoM, IFIM College, and VU. The afternoon began with greetings and updates by Dr. Venkatesh Sunkad, who shared insights on institutional rankings and strategic direction, followed by Prof. Swarnika Dixit, who presented development plans for IFIM College. The gathering embodied JAGSoM’s commitment to fostering lifelong bonds, continuous learning, and community spirit among its alumni.
The event concluded with interactive sessions, including engaging games and open-floor discussions that encouraged networking and collaboration. Key takeaways included strengthened alumni engagement, enhanced visibility of career services, and renewed enthusiasm for alumni-led initiatives. A special highlight was the introduction of the Mind & Matter NGO, aimed at promoting mental wellbeing and emotional awareness within the alumni community. Through heartfelt testimonials and active participation, Brunch Pe Charcha reinforced a collective vision of growth, belonging, and shared success across generations of alumni.
Brunch Pe Charcha Delhi Chapter: The JAGSoM IFIM Vijaybhoomi Alumni Association (JIVAA) hosted a “Brunch Pe Charcha” event for its Delhi chapter on April 27, 2025. The gathering provided a platform for alumni to reconnect, network, and engage in discussions about the future direction of the alumni association. The event was a success, marked by a warm welcome from Prof. Edwin, Ms. Namrata, and Ms. Divitha, who expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic participation of all attendees. Discussions focused on the strategic vision of JAGSoM, the goals of JIVAA, and plans to establish city-specific alumni chapters. Attendees, including senior alumni from the 1999 batch, expressed their eagerness to contribute to and actively participate in these initiatives.
A total of 20 alumni attended the event, representing a wide range of batches. The attendees also participated in an interactive rapid-fire round, where they shared one-word answers about their college and professional experiences, adding a lively and nostalgic element to the event. JIVAA’s initiatives, such as updates on the Database Management System and a new mobile application for alumni, were also highlighted during the event. The successful networking sessions led to an increase in alumni engagement, with attendees motivating more alumni to join the alumni committee. The overall outcome of the event was positive, leading to enhanced networking and increased visibility for the alumni association’s career services.
Brunch Pe Charcha Kolkata Chapter: JIIVA hosted a “Brunch Pe Charcha” event in Kolkata on Sunday, February 23, 2025. The event, held at Hammer – Park St, was a success, with 15 participants in attendance. The agenda included an alumni meet and greet, updates from speakers and alumni, and an open floor for discussion. Ms. Divitha Ganapathy, the event’s reporter, welcomed all the alumni and expressed gratitude for their participation, emphasizing the importance of alumni engagement and strengthening community connections. Key initiatives for the alumni community were highlighted, including the upcoming launch of a mobile app to enhance interaction and a new website that is set to go live in a month. There was also a positive reception to the proposal to establish alumni chapters in different cities.
The event yielded several valuable outcomes and insights from the alumni. Alumni suggested inviting both past and present faculty to future events to foster better connections and create a sense of nostalgia. They also requested access to research and study documents, as well as online library access, to stay updated with the latest educational materials. The attendees also emphasized the importance of holding online sessions with other alumni and faculty. A total of 14 alumni were in attendance, representing various batches from 1998-2000 to 2017-19. The event’s success was marked by enhanced alumni engagement,successful networking sessions, and valuable feedback on how to engage more alumni in the future.
Brunch Pe Charcha Chennai Chapter : The Chennai Chapter of Brunch Pe Charcha was held on September 22, 2024, at Barbeque Nation, T. Nagar, bringing together alumni of Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JagSoM) for an engaging and interactive afternoon. The event aimed to nurture the spirit of community and strengthen the bond between alumni across different batches. With a relaxed brunch setting, the gathering provided a platform for attendees to reconnect, share insights, and discuss future possibilities for collaboration. The agenda included alumni introductions, updates from the Alumni Association, and open networking sessions, all reflecting the shared mission of building a vibrant and supportive alumni network.
The session began with a warm welcome by Ms. Divitha Ganapathy, who expressed appreciation for the enthusiastic participation and reaffirmed the significance of alumni engagement. Mr. Bharath then presented key updates on the Alumni Association’s recent achievements, ongoing projects, and future initiatives aimed at strengthening alumni-student connections. The event successfully fostered new networking opportunities and inspired more alumni to join the committee’s efforts. With 10 participants, the meet highlighted the growing enthusiasm within the Chennai community and concluded on a note of gratitude and optimism for expanding the Brunch Pe Charcha initiative to more cities and international chapters.
Milan is Annual Event for the Alumni. The JAGSoM Alumni Association Annual General Meeting is held during Milan.
It was a Great successful Evening, where in all the Distinguished Alumni’s of Jagsom Institutions, Jagdish Sheth School of Management and Jagsom Law School gathered.
Corporate-to-Campus are a series of webinars for the Alumni, conducted by our faculty, on concurrent topics of interest in business management.
