An advertising maverick and a passionate teacher with more than 30 years of experience at working in various senior level with renowned media organizations and advertising agencies such as ABP Group, India Today, BIG FM, ORG-MARG Media Research, Percept Advertising, Madison Advertising, etc. He has rich cross-category experience having navigated brands for leading Indian and Global corporations such as, Britannia, Nestle, Mondelez, Pernod Ricard, Asian Paints, Castrol, Pidilite, Hershey, and General Mills to name a few. An MBA and PhD in Marketing and certificate degree holder in Digital Marketing and Digital Analytics from both IIM, Ahmedabad and ISB, Hyderabad. He also holds a certificate in Branding and Marketing Management from MICA, Ahmedabad. He was the Director for the School of Digital Media and Marketing at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University, Pune and his last assignment was as an Associate Dean for NMIMS School of Branding and Advertising (SoBA), Mumbai.

His areas of interest include Brand Strategy, Global Branding, Marketing Communications, Consumer Behaviour, International Marketing, and Business Strategy. Prof. Anirrban teaches courses in these areas with consistently high student ratings. He publishes articles regularly, conducts executive development programs and consults with companies.

  • Pursuing second Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Mumbai 
  • PGDBA in Marketing from Symbiosis, Pune.
  • Digital & Social Media Marketing from IIM, Ahmedabad.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing & Brand Management from MICA.
  • Digital Marketing & Analytics from ISB, Hyderabad.
