Job description:
The Teaching/Academic Associate will have to assist the Area faculty in effective academic delivery and various academic activities.
The Associate should be open to learning and should be ready to engage in active research with Faculty and provide support for research and industry projects.
Growth opportunities for Associates who are keen to do their Ph.D. include support for enrolment in Ph.D program and absorption as faculty based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Academic Delivery
- Assist the Area faculty in effective academic delivery and various academic activities.
- Co-ordinate sessions and course outlines of the Area.
- Co-ordinate the submission of all student assignments, assessments and evaluations including Capstone projects (RFP projects, IIP projects) and Sector analysis projects.
- Interface with Visiting faculty offering courses in the Area.
- Track the Research Incubation (RI) projects of the respective Area
- Act as a Teaching Assistant for allocated Area courses and Practice Courses taught to PGDM/BBA students.
- Contribute to Research Incubation Projects, Funded Research Projects, and Centre of Excellence projects, as and when required.
Industry Integration
Organize and Co-ordinate Guest Lectures and Corporate Events related to the Area, and Events related to the Centres of Excellence (CoE) of the Area.
Co-ordinate Industry projects (RFP) and Maintain a Tracker for all Corporate interactions of the respective Area.
Academic Conference/Seminars
Contribute to the organization of Conferences and Consortiums.
Other Duties
Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as may be reasonably expected of the role and as necessary in order to achieve the objectives of the Institution.

Purpose of the Job: To get new clientele for the Corporate Relations Group / University for purpose of continuous industry engagement, placements & Internships. Will be responsible for career services operations and inter-departmental coordination.
Reports to: Head/ AVP – Corporate Relations group
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility for initiating campus placements of all our students from the postgraduate programs. Placing the students across industries and sectors.
- Develop a strong network/database of corporate partners which would include CXOs, HR Heads, and HR points of contact of at least 500 top companies for placements.
- Manage the end-to-end process of placements which would include initiating discussions with prospective recruiters, managing pre-placement talks, facilitating student interviews, and securing the final placement offers for the students.
- Strategize and achieve successful career outcomes for the graduating class through a robust campus recruitment process based on the academic calendar.
- Achieve individual targets assigned for the annual recruitment process, summer internships and live projects. Support other team members wherever required.
- Positioning the value proposition of JAGSoM in terms of the USP of the school, promoting different programs to corporate clients, exploring different avenues for engagement (e.g. L&D) with the corporate partners.
- Create new placement partnerships basis the placement load across schools and manage existing placement partners for final placements and internships.
- Work with key stakeholders including Alumni, Faculty, Administration, Marketing & Admissions teams to achieve both career services and larger institutional objectives.
- Report to AVP, Corporate Relations Group and prepare and present a strategy to him for every placement cycle
- Maintaining key placement metrics
- Be responsible for Consultative selling to corporates
- Conduct Regular sessions with the students to guide them on placement expectations and career paths.
- Design and execute Industry Engagements and touchpoints like HR conclaves, guest lectures and events.
- Formulation of sales strategy for placements – Reassessing strategy every quarter.
Key skills:
- A minimum of 6-10 years of combined university career services and/or placements/ internship management experience is preferred.
- Candidates with Master’s degree would be preferred.

Job description
The ideal candidate would be an active young researcher who has either completed his/her Ph.D. or has submitted their Ph.D thesis.
The candidate should be open to learning and should be ready to engage in active research and to work with PGDM/BBA students, in order to convert student research projects into quality research papers that are publishable in ABDC category journals. The Research Fellow will also get an opportunity to work with Faculty on funded projects, corporate projects (RFP projects), patents and with various Centres of Excellence, resulting in a superior learning experience for selected candidates.
He/She will also have to assist the Area Chairperson in organising Conferences and in various administrative tasks.
