Banantika Datta holds a Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM B). Her doctoral dissertation in the area of Economics and Social Sciences at IIM B explores the effect of bilateral agreements in facilitating services trade and mobility across countries. She has presented papers in reputed domestic and international conferences. She has previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Narsee Monji Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Bengaluru. Prior to joining Ph.D., Banantika had worked in risk management and model validation. After graduating from Symbiosis School of Economics, she obtained an M.A. in Applied Economics from Centre for Development Studies (JNU), Trivandrum.
