Pragati is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Economics Area at IIM Bangalore. With a keen interest in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of investments in human capital, her doctoral thesis delves into innovative approaches to address contemporary challenges in this domain. She is affiliated with the Global Labor Organization (GLO) and was selected as one of the three fellows for the GLO Virtual Young Scholars’ Program 2022-23. Her dissertation papers have been selected for presentation at various internationally reputed conferences, including the Asian Meeting of the Econometric Society (Singapore), the Annual Meeting of the Southern Economic Association (USA), and the Asian & Australasian Society of Labor Economics Conference (Taiwan). Her professional journey includes academic and research roles at IIM Ahmedabad, IMT Ghaziabad, Ministry of External Affairs, and Delhi University Innovation Projects.
